Ola left us very peacefully on Sunday, August 1, 2010. She was the much beloved daughter of Lillian Pearl (Shaw) and John Walker Andrews of Saint John, N.B., also the great-great-grand- daughter of Dr. W. Robert Black and Jean Faulds Black of Wickham, N.B. Ola was born May 9, 1921 in Saint John and was of United Empire Decent. Mrs. McCullough was a graduate of the historic Saint John High School, The New Brunswick Provincial Teacher's College in Fredericton (the "Normal School") and the University of New Brunswick with a Liberal Arts Degree, B.A. Class of 1942. Ola began her teaching career at Albert College in Belleville Ontario and has had a long and happy relationship with that Institution. Mrs. McCullough will be sadly missed by her husband Donald David McCullough of Kingston Ontario, her daughter Carolyn (Sharpe/Jones) and husband James Peniston of Lyndhurst Ontario, her son Malcolm Jones, and grandson Andrew Jones of Belleville Ontario. Also step daughter Constance (McCullough) Halton (John), step son Kendall McCullough and grandson Michael, granddaughter Michelle. Ola will be very much mourned by her own family - her sister Phyllis Margaret (Andrews) Corbett (the late J.R. Murray Corbett), niece Janice Barbara (Corbett) Haeberlin, great nephew Kevin Martin Haeberlin and great niece Jennifer Anne (Haeberlin) Perryman (David), all of Toronto. Also a long time beloved cousin Leanore Boyd of Moncton, N.B.
A funeral service was held at James Reid Funeral Home, in Kingston Ontario, on Thursday, August 5, 2010. Interment was in the McCullough family lot in Cataraqui Cemetery.
