Joseph Lloyd Russell Barrett, 92, died on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, after a lengthy illness.
He was predeceased by his father, mother, brothers and his sister.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Joseph was a veteran of Second World War.
He left Glace Bay in 1950, but never forgot his roots in Glace Bay.
Visitation will be held at Patten's Funeral Home on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
