The death of Leo Emile Devost of Minto occurred Monday, August 30th, 2010 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born at Acadiaville, NB he was the son of the late Martial and Anna (Mazerolle) Devost. In addition to his loving wife Ida (Arseneau) Devost, Leo is survived by his son Robert Mullen (Kelly) of Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Owen and Stephanie; nine step-children, Arthur Cormier (Heather) and Louise Sleep (Brian) both of Minto, Patsy McLaughlin (Bernie) of Geary, Anne Richard (Roger) of Minto, Rita Stubbert (Craig) of Lincoln, Joe Cormier (Tanya) of Noonan, Aline Dunlop (John) of Minto, Armand Cormier (Heather) of Saint John and Janet McLaughlin (Gildard) of Oromocto; 17 step-grandchildren and 11 step great-grandchildren; two sisters, Agnes Caissie (Gerald) of Massachusetts and Laurise Allain (Alderice) of Moncton; two brothers, Herve Deveau (Geneva) of Moncton and Sylvio Deveau (Gisele) of Massachusetts; several nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Minto Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 1st, 2010 at the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church followed by Interment at the St. Bridget's Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
