SNOOK Veronica 1912 - 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Veronica Snook announce her passing at the A. M. Guy Memorial Health Care Centre, Buchans, NL on Monday August 30, 2010 at the age of 98. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Ethel (Tom Burt), Dan (Susan), all of St. Alban's, NL, Mike (Maureen) Howse, Kelligrews, NL; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister: Susan Collier, St. Alban's, NL; sisters in law: Philomena Barnes, Kate Collier, Joan Willcott, Violet Willcott, Mona Willcott, Geraldine Farrell, Mercedes Snook & Mary Snook as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Samuel; son: Bill; daughters: Mildred Howse and Betty Snook; granddaughter: Karla Snook; parents: David & Martha Willcott; sisters: Jude Collier, Genevieve Blake, Alimeta Perry, Madonna McDonald; brothers: Charles Willcott, Finton Willcott, Stanley Willcott, Ralph Willcott & Thomas Willcott. The funeral service was held on Thursday September 2, 2010 at 2 p.m. at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban's with Father Alberto Adaza officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban's. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
