At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB, following an accident, on September 3, 2010, Mr. Gregory Robert Morehouse, companion of Diane Johnston of Canal, NB. Born at Kingston, ON on December 18, 1957, he was a son of Robert and Dawn (Leslie) Morehouse. A loving companion, father, step father, son, grandson and brother, in addition to his companion and parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Grace Leslie of Blacks Harbour NB, one daughter, Melissa Morehouse of Toronto ON, step children; Annette Johnston (Kevin McGuigan) of Canal and Justin Johnston (Jessica Eagan) of St. Stephen NB, step grandchildren; Michael (Kelly) Johnston of Utopia NB and Corey Henry of St. George NB, step great grandchildren; Michael and Maranda Winsor and Kiera and Landon Johnston, one brother, Chris (Colleen) Morehouse Canal, two sisters; Angela Morehouse (Wade McVicar) of Back Bay, NB and Kimberly Morehouse (Larry James) of Fort McMurray AB, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Gregory was predeceased by one step son, Jerry Johnston and by one step grandson, Adam Henry.
Greg was a truck driver by trade and was a lover of animals. He loved the outdoors and doing outdoor activities, especially gardening. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
Resting at the St. George Funeral home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB from where the service will be held from the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Wednesday at 2 pm with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating. Visiting at the funeral home will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
