Nancy Louise Seury, 63, Westmount, passed away peacefully Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Edna(Slade) Waye.
Nancy was a loving and nurturing mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being with her family, gardening, reading and spending time with her precious dog, Daisy. She was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 126 in Westmount.
Nancy is survived by Gordon Seury; and her loving children, Robert (Noella) and Rose (Mark); her grandchildren, Morgan and Brooklyn Greenwell, who were her pride and joy, and Kelsey Donovan; four sisters, Barbara (John) Mulligan, Sylvia (Brian) Hallam, Judy (George) Cormier, and Karen Waye; four brothers, Lloyd, David, Foreman (Cheryl) and John.
Besides her parents, Nancy was predeceased by two sisters in infancy.
Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be held 11 a.m Thursday, Sept. 9, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. Burial to follow in Hardwood Hill Cemetery.
