Passed suddenly away as the result of an industrial accident near Sunnyside, NL, on Monday Evening, August 30, 2010, Mr. Derrick Conrad Lawrence, age 45 years, of Mose Ambrose. Leaving to mourn with loving and lasting memories are his family: loving wife, Tracey, of 20 years; his only son and best friend, Luke Aaron; his mother, Mrs. Gladys Lawrence at Mose Ambrose; four brothers, Wayne (Shirley) at Dartmouth, NS, Kevin(Helena) at Boxey, John (Beverley) at Halifax, NS and Jason (Kim) at Mose Ambrose; one sister, Joanne Tibbo (Cyril) at Mose Ambrose; the Evans Family, plus a large number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his father, Joseph; baby sister, Geraldine; grandparents, Herbert and Annie Baker, and Arthur and Elizabeth Lawrence. Funeral service was held from St. Thomas Anglican Church in English Harbour West on Friday, September 3, 2010, at 2:00 pm with Rev. Roy Simms officiating.
