Kathleen Margaret (Peggy) Banks
Sackville, N.B. - It is with sadness that the family of Kathleen (Walker) Banks, announce her passing on Thursday, May 28, 2009, following a lengthy illness, at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Peggy was 92 years of age. Born on December 23, 1916 in Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland she was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Castles) Walker. Peggy will be greatly missed by her husband of 63 years, Charles (Bob) Banks; her brother, Thomas of Thunder Bay, Ontario; her sister Shelagh; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Kohlmier of California and Grace Marth of British Colombia; and many, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Ivor, Jim and Harold and brothers-in-law, John and William. Peggy had complete faith in the Bible¹s promise of a paradise earth where "the eyes of the blind ones will see again" all to the praise of Jehovah God.

Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell¹s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request of the family. There will be a memorial service held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah¹s Witnesses in Sackville, N.B., on Saturday, June 6, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. www.campbellsfuneralhome.com
