The death of William Kenneth 'Billy Archie' MacDonald occurred Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010 in Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck.
Billy was a lifelong resident of the Mulloch. He was the son of the late Archie and Betty (Rector) MacDonald. Billy was a woodsman all his life and enjoyed the outdoors. He was well liked and a friend to all.
Billy will be sadly missed by his wife, Sally Garland; his sons, Laurie (Charlene), Wayne (Muriel), Willie (Roslyn), John Allan (Pat), Brian and Scott; daughters, Margie (William) Sealy, Caroline (Dougie) Marshall; sister, Nellie (Ernest) Nicholson and 11 grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by son, Tony and brother, Bonnie.
There will be no visitation by request. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m, Sunday, Sept. 12 in Stewartdale Cemetery with Rev. Adam Lees officiating.
Memorial donations in memory of Billy may be made a charity of choice.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes Ltd., Whycocomagh.
