Passed away suddenly on September 11, 2010, as a result of a tragic car accident, Walter Halleran of Gaskiers, S.M.B., aged 18 years. Predeceased by great-grandfather Walter Tobin, grandfather Dave Halleran, step-grandfather Howard Coombs and cousin A.J. Sullivan. Leaving to mourn his loving family: mother Joanne, brother Jesse, father Ray (Julie), sisters Alexis & Natasha, grandmothers Joan Tobin and Fannie Coombs, beloved great-grandmother Laura Tobin, a large circle of relatives from the Tobin and Halleran families, and his many friends which include the 2009/2010 Dunne Academy graduating class and his very special friends Adam, Andrew and Charles. Resting at Gibbons Funeral Home, St. Mary's on Sunday, September 12, 2010, from 7 - 9 pm, Monday, September 13, 2010 11 am - 4 pm; 7 - 9 pm and Tuesday, September 14, 2010, beginning at 11 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary's. Burial to follow.
