It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister, Johanna 'Jennie' Koroszi on Aug. 30, 2010, at Holy Cross Hospital, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Born Jan. 6, 1926, in Sydney, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Kasprysk) Paruch. She moved to Florida in the early 1970s from Montreal. She was a devout Catholic, enjoyed knitting, her dog 'Nicky' and chatting with neighbours.
She was preceded by her husband, John, sisters, Stella Sobol, Minnie Shelly, and brother, Adam Paruch.
She is survived by sister, Wanda Huk; brother, Teddy Paruch; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial took place Sept. 4, 2010, at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
