It is with regret, we announce the death of M. Esther Young, of Woodstock, NB, on September 21, 2010 at the Carleton Manor. She was born on September 9, 1922 to the late Raymond and Reta (Colwell) Grant. Esther is survived by; her son Blair (Angela) of Bedell; six grandchildren, Andrew (Julie) of Jacksonville, Jodi Walton (Wade) of Ashland, NB, Vanessa Young, Hailie Young, Chad Young, and Kyley Young; two great-grandchildren Sadie Young and Canden Walton; daughter-in-law Dianne Ebbett of Bristol; her sister Gladys Burpee of Woodstock; her brother Clair Grant of Northampton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Glen, her sons Malcolm, David and George, and her brother Richard.
A visitation will be held from the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Rd, Jacksonville, on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. A funeral service will be from the St. James United Church on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 10:30 am with Rev Bob Stevens officiating. Interment will be in the Jacksonville Anglican Cemetery.
