Age 71 years of Kelligrews. Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on September 22, 2010, at the PCU of the L.A. Miller Centre, after a brave battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents: Reginald and Annie Churchill; sister Sylvia Garland; infant sister Mary Churchill and son-in-law Robert Parsons. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 43 years, Josephine; daughters: Tracey (Pat), Alberta, and Cheryl (John), Paradise; son Bradley (Angela and her son Chad), St. John's and his only grandchild, Alanna (Pop's girl). Also leaving to mourn four brothers: Cyril (Margaret), Alberta, Lionel (Margaret), Ontario, Brian (Sandra), Alberta, George (Maxine), Ontario; sister Jocelyn Miller (Roger), Portugal Cove; two brothers-in-law: Kevin Muggridge (Marie), Winter Brook, NL and Gerald Muggridge (Beverly), Ontario. Also, a large circle of nieces, nephews and family and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews, on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Saturday 10-12 noon from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 25, 2010, at 2 p.m. Interment in Topsail United Cemetery, Topsail.
