It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jessie Florence Cave announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Saturday, June 6th, 2009, at the age of 68 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: her husband, Henry; her children: Rosalind Cave of London, Ontario, Clayton (Lori) Cave of St. John's, Phyllis Cave (Peter Warford) of Rattling Brook, Joyce Cave (Michel Lapierre) of Dartmouth, NS and Shawn Cave of Deer Lake; her grandchildren: Jeremy, Nena, Jeffery, Kayley, Stephanie, Anna-Jeanne and William; her great-grandchildren: Amber, Luke and Leah; her stepbrother, Freeman (Shirley) Small and her stepsister, Elsie (Clayton) Taylor, both of Wild Cove. Jessie was predeceased by her son, Freeman; her father, Arthur Gavin; her mother, Emily Small; and her stepfather, Grenfell Small. Also leaves to mourn a number of other relatives and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from the Church of the Epiphany in Hampden, today, Monday, June 8th, 2009 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, June 9th, 2009 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., from where also the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 10th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Hannah Dicks officiating. Burial to follow at the church cemetery in Hampden. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of one's choice in Jessie’s memory would be gratefully appreciated.
