Peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, of Albert James Landry of Brooklyn, P.E.I. and formerly of Miscouche, aged 80 years. Born in Montague on May 1, 1930, he was the son of the late Stephen and Dorothy (nee Lavers) Landry. Beloved husband of Marie Lorraine (nee MacNeill) Landry of the Maplewood Manor Alberton. Dear father to Debbie (John) Earl of Cornwall; James of Miscouche; Karen (Brad) Butler of Montague; Lisa Landry of Toronto; Tracey Landry (James Lockhart) of Toronro. Lovingly remembered by his seven grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers and one sister: Ward of California; Floyd of Alberta; Donalda (Ron) Hughes of Brooklyn; and Richard of Georgetown.He was predeceased by a brother Harold and by a sister Lorraine Caldwell. Albert was a long time employee of Marine Atlantic until his retirement. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton from where the funeral will be held on Monday morning Oct. 4, 2010, at 10 a.m. Rev. Sue Paterson officiating. Visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
