The family of George Herbert Malcolm, born December 30, 1921, announces his peaceful passing on Sunday, October 3, 2010, in Penticton.

George will be lovingly remembered by his children, Stuart (Karen), David (Helga), Laury, Wayne (Bonnie), and grandchildren, Kendra, Amy, Kerri, Bryce, Andrea and Braden. He adored his grandchildren.

George and Phyllis lived in Kamloops for many years where he worked for Kal Tire until retirement in 1986, then moved to Eagle Bay. Shortly before Phyllis's passing in 2004 they moved to Salmon Arm. George was a proud WWII veteran and recently recognized with a 65 year pin.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 9th, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 62, 141 NW Hudson Ave., Salmon Arm.

In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire a donation may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 62, Salmon Arm.
