It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Catherine Hinks announce her passing at her Family Residence, Conne River, NL, on Tuesday September 28, 2010 at the age of 83. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Christina (Francis Drew), Douglas, Marie Hinks, Arthur (Jackie), all of Conne River, NL, Gertie (Marshall Keeping), Ramea, NL, Johnny, Toronto, ON, Joan (Maxwell Skinner), Fort McMurray, AB, Everest (Joan), Conne River, NL, Betty (Donald Pink), Ramea, NL, Damian, Fort McMurray, AB, Russell (Tina), Conne River, NL, LaverinaHinks, Shediac, NB; 27 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters: Corsina John, Conne River, NL, Margaret Stewart, St. Bernard's, NL, Jane (Harry Haines), Toronto, ON as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Joseph (1991); daughter in law: Joyce (2009); grandson: Everest Skinner; granddaughter: Josie Hinks; great-grandson: Patismgig Hinks; brothers: Frank & Michael Burke. The funeral service was held on Saturday October 2, 2010 at 2 pm at St. Anne's R. C. Church, Conne River, NL with Father Alberto Adaza officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery Conne River. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes' Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban's.
