William Russell 'Russie' MacPherson, (Veteran of the Second World War, Regina Riffles) on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010 at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre, Veteran's Wing in his 87th year.
Russie beloved husband of the late Olive. Dear father of Sharon, David and Lorne (Bridget). Cherished grandfather of one. Lovingly remembered by his sisters, Nancy (Leon Peterson), Agnes Whalen, Veronica (Willis Brace) and Josie Barrow.
Predeceased by his sisters, Mary and Theresa and his brothers, Leo and Jackie.
Russie will be forever missed by his large extended family.
Resting at The Paul O'Connor Funeral Home,1939 Lawrence Ave. E (between Warden & Pharmacy) from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday. Service and committal in our chapel on Thursday morning at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Make a Wish Foundation or Sunnybrook Health Science Centre, Veteran's Wing would be appreciated.
