Passed peacefully away on Oct. 13, 2010 at the Carmelite House, GF-W, George Joshua Guy of GF-W. He was 80 years old. Mr. Guy retired from TRA in 1995, he was a member of Windsor Pentecostal Church. He was predeceased by his parents, Leslie & Jessie Guy; first wife Margaruite; brother, Wm. D. Guy. Left to mourn are his wife Ruth Caroline (Hannaford) Guy; sons, George, David (Maureen), Robert (Mary), Gary, Carl; dauthers, Irene (Douglas), Lillian (Baxter), Geraldine (Boris), Rolinda (Glen), Jacqualine (Robert); 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn sisters, Elsie Freake (Alfred), Ann Wheeler and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Elaine Rideout and Gary Andrews conducted funeral services at Windsor Pentecostal Church on Friday, Oct. 15, 2010. Interment at Windsor Pentecostal Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Homes, Grand Falls-Windsor. Pallbearers were Baxter Morgan, Rex Sheppard, Kenneth Freake, Les Wheeler, Sterling Saunders, Bob Wheeler. Honorary pallbearers Kevin Ellis and Gary Williams.
