The death of Joseph Donat Perry, age 82, wife of Doreen (Ashburne) Perry of Gagetown, NB, occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital, on Sunday, October 24, 2010. He was born in Rexton, NB, on August 5, 1928, the son of the late Adolphe and Anastasie (Richard) Perry. Donat is survived by his wife Doreen; son Neil and Janice Perry of Gagetown, NB; grandchildren Ben, Samantha, Daniel, Nick and Linda; brother Raymond and Nancy Perry of Rexton, NB; brother-in-law Terrance Allain of Winnipeg; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his son Richard Perry.
He is resting at Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago Street, Oromocto, with visiting on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian burial, with Father Mark Trzop officiating, will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Interment will follow in St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Gagetown. Donations to the Oromocto Public Hospital Palliative Care or the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
