It is with great regret that we the family announce the sudden tragic death of our brother, Ian MacDonald on Saturday Oct. 23, 2010 at home.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Layton and Alice 'Lala' (Pasher) MacDonald.
Ian was a master hairstylist by trade, he had an artistic nature and enjoyed listening to music.
Ian is survived by his sisters, Audrey, Karen, Margurite and Christina; brothers, Daniel, Barry, Bruce, Robert, Donald, and Kenny, many nieces and nephews as well as his good friend, Charles 'Charlie' Thorgrimson, Winnipeg.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Marlene Faulkner; brother, Edward MacDonald, Arnold Glen and Elizabeth Marie in infancy.
Cremation has taken place.
There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. A private family burial will take place at a later date in Hardwood Hill Cemetery.
