1989 - 2010

Kirsty Mattice and her beautiful daughter Kaira Stamm were taken away after being in a tragic motor vehicle accident on October 21, 2010 in Clearwater, B.C.

Kirsty made sure Kaira was in the wings of an angel before going to join her on the next day of October 22, 2010.

Kirsty and Kaira are survived by Kaira's father Kurtas Stamm of Kamloops; Kirsty's father Terry Mattice of Merritt; her sisters Teresa Mattice of Kamloops and Kimberly Mattice of Burns Lake; her precious and only nephew Aaron; her grandmothers Hope Mattice of Burns Lake and Darlene Allen of Kamloops; her aunts, uncles as well as many, many friends.

Kirsty liked to read poetry and socializing with her friends. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the lives of Kirsty and Kaira, will be held at 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Merritt Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 1940 Quilchena Ave.

The family requests that any expressions of sympathy take the form of a donation to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation at 311 Columbia St., Kamloops, B.C. V2C 2T1. The staff members were so wonderful and supported us during this difficult time.
