The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, of Lawrence "Rick" Blackburn of New Dominion, age 68 years.
Special friend of Linda Shaw. Father of Debbie Blackburn, Donna Blackburn and Denise Daly, all of Ontario. Also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
No visitation or funeral service by personal request. Private committal at New Dominion Cemetery.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the P.E.I. Cancer Society.
