Blanche Forsythe, age 89, of Port Greville, passed away peacefully at the South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro on Saturday, October 30, 2010, with family and dear friends at her side.
Born in Port Greville, NS, she was a daughter of the late Abram and Clodine (Cole) McCully.
She is survived by her sister, Marion Akerley, Halifax; sister-in-law, Betty McCully, Moncton; brother-in-law, Robert Forsythe, Havelock, NB and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald, sisters, Leota, Flossie, Stella, Reta, Margaret, Eva, Evelyn and brothers, Herbert and Leslie.
Blanche's remains have been entrusted into the care of the Furlong Jones Funeral Home, Amherst (667-8777 )where funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 2 pm. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12 to 2 pm. Burial in the Amherst Cemetery.
