Passed away peacefully Nov. 1, 2010 at the Central NL Regional Health Care Centre, Barbara Joyce Caravan, of Grand Falls-Windsor. She was 68 years of age. Ms. Caravan was a life member and president of UCW, Member of Session, UC choir member. She was predeceased by parents, Mildred and William; brother John; sister, Judy. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughter, Krista (Clint) Kane, Mass., USA; two grandsons, Matthew and Charlie; brothers, William (Patricia), Robert (Barbara), Wayne (Diana), Charles; sisters, Carol (Patrick), Grace (Wade) and a circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Elizabeth Stewart conducted funeral services at First United Church, Grand Falls-Windsor, Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010 with interment at the United Church Cemetery, Caribou Road, GF-W. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Homes, Grand Falls-Windsor. Pallbearers were Junior Burton, Larry Loveless, Wayne Morris, Maynard Dinn, Paul Hoskins, Terry Hoskins, Kenneth Freake and Ralph Bowers.
