It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorothy Fowler of Capstan Island announce her passing at Labrador South Health Centre in Forteau with her family at her side on Oct. 26, 2010 at the age of 60 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Harvey; children Brian Lowe (Francine), Joy Fowler Pike (Delbert), and Blair (Suzy); grandchildren Kristen, Peter, Adam, Brandon, Sarah and Heather; sister Alice Lowe; brothers William (Margaret), Martin (Samantha), and special friend Veronica Bolger, as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Peter and Mary Lowe and brother John. Visitation took place at the Anglican Church in Capstan Island on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from where the funeral service took place on Saturday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Norman Cutler officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery in L’Anse au Diable. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, L’Anse au Loup.
