AMHERST The death of Doris Collins, age 83, of Amherst occurred on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.
Born in Chignecto, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alma (Hunter) McLellan.
Doris will be sadly missed by daughters, Patricia (Wayne Landry), Shelley (Gary Tingley), a son Peter (Debbie); grandchildren, Kim, Michael and Amanda; step-grandchildren, Michelle and Chris; great grandchildren, Kayla, Jordan and Austin; one step- great grandchild, Noah; and a sister Arlene (Larry) Doucet. She was predeceased by a brother, Darrell.
Doris's remains have been entrusted into the care of the Furlong Jones Funeral Home, Amherst. There will be no visitation or memorial service. Burial in the Maccan Cemetery in the spring. www.furlongjones.ca
