Born at Perth, Scotland, February 7th, 1922. Passed peacefully away on Saturday, November 6th, 2010 at North Haven Manor, Lewisporte. Predeceased by her husband George Slessor Sutherland. Left with many cherished memories her sons: John (Yvonne), grandson Ian; and Peter (Dolores), grandson Allan; sister Netta Law (Stanley) of Aberdeen, Scotland; niece Jennifer and nephew Gary of Aberdeen, Scotland; special friends: Patsy Martin and Verna Manuel in addition to many others. Funeral to be held at St. Matthew’s United Church, Lewisporte on Tuesday, November 9th at 2:00 p.m. A special thank you to the staff of North Haven Manor and Dr. W. Collins. Liza was a long term Public Librarian, Girl Guide leader and Central District Guide Commissioner.
