It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jean Alexander announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Monday, November 8, 2010 at the age of 89 years. She will be sadly missed by her son, David Kelly Alexander (Patti Spencer) of Stephenville; daughter, Jeanette (Joe) Kingma of Stephenville; one sister, Dorothy Bailey of St. John’s; one grandson, David and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman Alexander, her parents, John and Lucy Russell, three brothers, Llewellyn Russell, Ralph Russell, Ted Russell, sister Audrey Sheppard. Visitation took place on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, November 10th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, Hillview Avenue, Stephenville with Rev. Canon Dawn Barrett officiating with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
