Greg Greene, 59, Sydney Mines, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, at the Northside General Hospital.
Born in Sydney Mines, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Anne (Campbell) Greene. He was a member of Immaculate Conception parish, Sydney Mines.
Greg loved music and enjoyed sharing it with his fellow musicians. He displayed his musical talents at many events and functions in the area and those talents were appreciated by all who listened. He also loved caring for his exotic birds and his dog, Cricket.
He is survived by his sons, Greg (Linelle), Sydney Mines and Kevin (Danielle), New Brunswick; his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jacob, Dominic and Emmanuelle. Also surviving are his brothers, Donnie and Bernie (Brenda) and his mother and father-in-law, Wally and Dorothy Morgan.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Monica (Morgan).
Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church with Fr. Thomas John officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
