Andrea Lajeunesse (Jungkind) Bannish It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of our beautiful wife, daughter, granddaughter, cousin and friend, Andrea (Andi) Bannish. She was the victim of a drinking and driving accident in Selkirk Manitoba, on November 18, 2010.
Denise Lajeunesse (Andrea's Grandmother) of Prince Albert would like to thank everyone who has been so supportive through this time of loss and pain. Left to cherish her memory is her longtime best friend, love and husband of five weeks, Daniel Bannish, her parents Karen and Karl Jungkind, Her Grandma Denise Lajeunesse, Daniels parents Barbara and Darrel Bannish, Danny's Brother Micheal, his wife Amy and their son Ross, as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC. Andi was predeceased (before her birth) by her father Hank Lajeunesse, as well as her Grandpa Patrick Lajeunesse, her maternal grandparents John and Gail Madill, Grandma Jungkind, her Aunty Terry and her Aunty Lina.
Andrea was born on December 10th, 1981 in Winnipeg. In 1984 Andi and her mom met Karl Jungkind and together they became a wonderful, close knit family.
An Avid traveler, Andi was looking forward to sharing her many adventures, Ireland particularly, with her love Danny.
Creative and talented her family and friends always graciously accepted many hand-made treasures such as scrapbooked cards, and beaded jewels. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, and entertaining friends and family. She also had an amazing eye for renovating and decorating. Danny and Andi's Thanksgiving wedding was a stunning example of the many talents she held. Not to forget her love of Christmas, the decorating, baking, and gift giving, she was occasionally accused of being part Elf. Caring, fun loving, and fiercely loyal, her beautiful smile and contagious laugh are only a few of the many ways we will remember Andi.
You were a miracle at birth, our angel from the beginning, and now our angel from above.
In memory of our Andi, we ask that through the Christmas Season and always to please refrain from Drinking and Driving. An innocent beautiful life has been unnecessarily lost.
