May 19, 1949 - November 27, 2010

Ken grew up in a farming community in Ladner, B.C. as the youngest of five. In 1972 he began his diversified career with Finning throughout B.C. & Alberta.

Ken was a pebble that created the wave that spread friendship, love, respect and trust to all that knew him. He was a loving, patient, kind, compassionate husband and dad. Ken has left an everlasting legacy to be proud of. After his 36 years with Finning, Ken and Jan retired to Kamloops, B.C. in 2008. Ken had a passion for the outdoors, boating, fishing, golfing, hunting, quadding, and heading down the highway with his RV.

Ken passed away peacefully at home after a courageous 2 1/2 year journey with cancer that was filled with determination, strength, an amazing attitude and the will and desire to live life. He truly was an incredible inspiration to those who knew him. Ken made a difference just by being who he was; his inner light shone brightly and touched the lives of many.

Our memories will remain forever as
keepsakes in our hearts.
In the end he wanted us to know that
'I did it my way'.

There will be a Celebration of Ken's life Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Rivershore Estate and Golf Links.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken's honor can be made to the Kamloops Hospice Association, 72 Whiteshield Crescent South, Kamloops, B.C., V2E 2S9 or the B.C. Cancer Society.
