Robert Peter Buchanan passed away peacefully at the Shaunavon Care Centre on Wednesday, December 15, 2010. He was 94 years of age. Peter grew up on the family homestead at Claydon, SK. He taught at Avon School briefly and served as the Claydon Post Master for a short while. Peter moved to Cabri and worked for the Cabri Co-op as their bookkeeper for 25 years. He then moved to Hazlet and worked for the Municipality as their secretary until his retirement. Peter was an active Lion's Club member throughout his years in these communities. He was predeceased by all his brothers and sisters, Alice, Helen, Laura, Bruce, and Neil. Peter is survived by several nieces and nephews. At Peter's request no service will be held.
