Following a long illness, Edna Ruth Carter passed away in Ottawa on Monday, December 27th, 2010. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, the only child of the late Freeman Carter and Daisy Mailman. Survived by her beloved husband Richard, daughters Rachael Van Tassel and Rosalind Helgason (David). Loving grandmother of Richard and Katrina Helgason and Arthur Barkhouse. Member of Beta Sigma Phi (Theta Master Chapter, Ottawa).
Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at the Pinecreast Visitation Centre (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa) from 1 pm until the time of the Memorial Service in the Pincerest Chapel at 2 pm.
