Passed peacefully away on January 3, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre after a lengthy illness, Elmer Harris, age 71 years. Predeceased by his parents Pastor and Mrs. Joseph Harris and sister Florence. Leaving to mourn his wife of 45 years Joan; two sons: David and Stephen and their families; as well sister, Hazel and husband Willie Brenton; brother, Wallace and wife Winnie; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethesda Pentecostal Church, McDonald Drive.
