It is with great sadness that the family of the late Levi Stride announce his passing at his family residence, Conne River, NL, on Wednesday December 29, 2010 at the age of 84. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife: Loretta; sons: Chris (Lila), Peterview, NL, Brendon (Merina), Gus (Verna), John (Sheila), & Gavin (Connie), all of Conne River, NL; daughters: Mary (Elaine), rita (Larry), Frances (Alvin), Marie (Clint), Roxanne (Rick), 7 Jodi (Adam), all of Conne River, NL; grandchildren: Trudy, Faye, Sandy, Loretta, Kelsey, Allan, Jacob, Tanner, Hayden, Keon, Cheyenne, Doonna0Rae, Sarah, Joshua, Levi, Christopher, Trevor, Keisha, Dylan, Chloe, Kendel; great-grandchildren: Cayden, Landon, Chase, Abe, Damien, Brianna & Mackenzie as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Abe & Rita Stride; sistersAggie Hinks, Rita White & Rosie Hoskins; brother: Peter; daughter: Dianne John; sons: Levi & Gerard. The funeral service was held on Saturday January 1, 2011 at 2 p.m. at St. Anne's R. C. Church, Conne River, NL with Father Alberto Adaza officiating. Cremation followed.
