Spidle, Carl Murray, 70, of Bridgetown East, Passed away January 6, 2011 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Melvern Square, he was a son of the late Murray and Annie (Lawson) Spidle. Carl had worked for Irving Oil as an oil delivery man for 25 years. Prior to that he operated the Shell Service for many years. He is survived by his long time companion, Patricia Walker; sons, Kevin (Cynthia) of Moncton; Steven (Amanda) of Bridgetown; and daughter, Cindy (Bruce) Hutchinson of Bridgetown; 10 grandchildren; sister, Kathleen (Wilson) Conrad of Bridgetown. He was predeceased by grandson, Alex.
There will be no visitation by request. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. A grave side service will be held 11:00 am Monday in Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown with Rev. Mark Reece officiating. Donations in memory may be sent to the Nova Scotia Heart & Stroke Foundation.
