Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the Leonard A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit, Charlotte Tucker, age 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Moses Tucker; two infant sons; parents John Charles and Caroline Tucker; brothers George, Jack, Steve and Charles Sharpe; sisters Eliza (Sharpe), Alvina Tucker and Emma Squires. Leaving to mourn two sons Charles (Ethel) and Wesley (Norma); one daughter Marilyn (Ray); eight grandchildren: Dewayne (Tracey), Ann Susan, David, Wesley, Daniel, Deborah and Gail; great-grandchildren Cole, Kiera, Nicholas, Joshua, Matthew, Thomas and Stryder; sisters-in-law Clementine MacRoberts, Sadie Rose and Phoebe Harding; special thank you to her caregivers: Martha Clarke and Thelma Hicks and the nurses at Palliative Care for their care and assistance; to Dr. Peter T. Noel for his kindness and compassion and her special nieces Caroline Tucker and Margaret Tucker; also leaving a large number of relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Wednesday from 3-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Philip’s Anglican Church with interment to follow at St. Philip’s Anglican Cemetery.
