The family of Isabel Clendenning wish to announce her passing on January 10, 2011 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was born on March 4, 1923 in Aberdeen, Scotland. She is survived by her husband John, a sister Ethel in Scotland; children, Judy (Boyd), Blair (Janet), Malcolm (Pam), Dana (Colleen), Alanda (Cameron), John (Evelyn); grandchildren, Jaime, Michael, Darren, Derek, Shannon, Julie, Scott, Erin, Patrick, Jordan, Laura; great grandchildren, Alyssa, Brianna, Matthew, Kayla; several nieces and nephews in Canada and Scotland.
Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland on Wednesday, January 12th from 6 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. from the Hartland United Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
