The death of Florence Catherine (Fennell, Boyle) Carpenter, age 86, wife of Gerald F. Carpenter, of Kars, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Sunday, January 9, 2011. Florence was born on September 15, 1924, in Lakeside, NB, the daughter of the late Francis and Agnes (McMackin) Boyle. She is survived by her husband Gerald; sons Francis and Allison Fennell of Saint John, Paul and Valerie Fennell of Westfield, Jack and June Fennell of Saint John and Edward Fennell of Florida; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial, conducted by Father Arnie Hachey, will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Norton, NB, on Friday, January 14, 2011, at 10 am.
