Zienau (Hatt), Louise E. - 88 of Maple Wood Nursing Home, formerly of Milton, Queens County, N.S. and Claresholm, Alberta died Sunday January 2, 2011 at the Maple Wood Nursing Home in Brighton, Ontario. At her passing she was surrounded by loving family and also the very loving, compassionate family staff of Maple Wood. Born in Milton, Queens County, N.S., she was the daughter of the late James and Mildred (Walsh) Hatcher. She was predeceased by husbands George Hatt, Milton, NS; Fritz Zienau, Claresholm, Alberta; son Peter John Hatt; brothers Russell and Armistice; sister Mabel; grandson baby Jason Kerry Hatt and great-grandson baby Michael Carroll. Surviving are her sister Greta (Jim) Smith; daughters Anna (Freeman) Whynot, Bonnie (Roy) Pigden, Donna (William) Alexander, Faith (Terry) Smith; sons Mitchell (Jean) Hatt, Russell (Margaret) Hatt; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Throughout Canada she has many church sisters and brothers and many beloved friends whose hearts she has touched. Mother had a deep passion for life and an even greater passion of giving love to others unconditionally. Her love of God, family and friends will transcend her passing. She leaves big shoes to fill. A memorial service was held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 16349 County Rd., 2 Quinte West on January 15. Family flowers only.
