Peacefully at Riverview Manor in Montague on Thursday, January 20, 2011, of John William Fraser of Montague and formerly of Whim Road, age 84 years.
Cherished husband of Barbara (nee Campbell). Loving father to Linda (James) Herring, Whitby, Ontario, and Anne (Mario) Pater, Whim Road. Doting grandfather to Tammy Herring (Ken Truesdell), Houston, Texas, and Colin Pater, Vancouver, B.C. Great-grandfather of Avery and William Truesdell. Brother of Mary (Stanley - deceased) Hicken, Anna (Russell - deceased) Hicken, and Finley (Nadine); also numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter Debbie.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home until Monday, then to Hillcrest United Church for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in the Lower Montague Cemetery.
Visitation: Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
