The death of Kathryn Anne Clarke, age 45, of Kiersteadville, NB, occurred unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, January 23, 2011. She was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on November 6, 1965. She is survived by her loving husband Jerry Alexander Clarke of Kiersteadville, NB; mother Marlene (Thorne) Nielsen of Lincoln, NB; father Harry Nielsen of White Rock, BC; brother Paul Nielsen of Fredericton, NB; puppies Namaste and Geronimo; cats Kissy and Jamie; father-in-law Jerry Clarke of Haneytown, NB; mother-in-law Janet (Flemming) Clarke of Fredericton, NB; sister-in-law Dr. Dawne Clarke-Pidwysocky and her husband Stephen of Fredericton, NB; nieces Meredyth and Emily Van Every; nephew Keith Van Every; several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues. In 2010 Kathryn was predeceased by her canine companions Muwin and Cherokee and feline companion Willow.
A Memorial Ceremony, conducted by Rev. Sarah Palmater, will be held at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Cross House, St. Thomas University Campus, Fredericton, NB, on Friday, January 28, 2011. Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, have been entrusted with arrangements.
