CROSBY, Arnold Keith - 76, North River, Colchester County passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on January 23, 2011. Born in Lake Annis, Yarmouth County, Arnold was the son of the late Merle and Mae Crosby (Stepmother Ada). Arnold loved the outdoors, especially working in the woods, fishing and hunting. He had a true appreciation for all that nature had to offer and had an expert knowledge of the woodlands. He loved telling stories of his adventures in the outdoors and on occasion was known to embellish some of the details. Arnold graduated from Maritime Forest Ranger School in 1964, and was honored to be class valedictorian. He began working for Scott Paper Company soon after and continued to work there until his retirement in 1989. Arnold felt that he was blessed to have the opportunity to spend his career working in the woods. Correspondingly, he never considered his work as a job.
