It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Charles Cecil Milligan on Friday Feb. 4, 2011. Suddenly, but peacefully, in his 50th year at his home in St. Gilbert of Egmont Bay. Charlie will be missed and cherished always by his wife Elise Marie Milligan. Born on May 31, 1960 in Tyne Valley, son of the late Sterling and Jean Nora Milligan. Dear father of son Travis, daughter Ashley, son Mitchell Rogers and daughters Renee Rogers and Sarah Jeffrey. Stepfather of Shawn and his wife Monica of Charlottetown, Heidi and her husband Ted of Ottawa, Ontario. Beloved grandfather of Jasmine, Hollie, Skyler, Emma, Mia and Felicity. Always remembered by his brother Gary Milligan, his sister Sharon and husband Glen Blachford, his brother Robert and wife Susan Milligan and sister-in-law Arlene Milligan. With fond memories from all his Aunts and Uncles, Etta Milligan, Edna Milligan, Wyman and Velma Milligan, Frank and Josephine Milligan, Shirley Milligan, Bernice Ramsay, Joan Wagner, Gerald Wagner, Arnold and Judy Wagner, Cecil and Lillian Wagner, Foster and Lillian Wagner, Audrey and John Barlow, Sadie and Hughie MacDonald, Patsy and Richard Bulger, Jessie and Kenny Boyle and Joyce McKinnon. Predeceased by his brother Roger, and the following aunts and uncles, Foster, Elmer, Charles, Reg, Gertrude, Lester and Phyllis. Visitation at the Evangeline Funeral Salon on Tuesday Feb. 8 from 6-9 p.m. Service to take place in the Evangeline Funeral Chapel, Wednesday Feb. 9 at 10:30 a.m. At the request of the family, no flowers please. Donations to the Wellington Fire Department would be most appreciated.
