1940-2011 - Patricia "Pat" Hawkes. 70, of Hartland, NB, passed away at home, on Monday, February 7, 2011. She was born November 3, 1940 ,in Devon, NB and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Eva Thomas of Saint John. She was predeceased by sisters Marlene (Ralph) McLenaghan and Jean (Joe) Bursey; Brother Roland (Connie) Thomas of Saint John and brother-in-law Rod Mizener. Pat is survived by husband, Ralph Howard Hawkes of Hartland; daughters, Kathy (John) Hawkes-Trecartin of Hartland, Gayle Barrett of Hartland,Tanya Hawkes of Hartland. Tracey (Kevin) Dunn of Moncton,NB; grandchildren, Matthew (Angie) Harris, Patrick (Natasha) Harris, Lucas (Jennifer) Harris, Kyle Barrett, Alex and William Tompkins, great grandchildren, Rielle Harris, Raya Harris, step-great grand daughter Claire Polchies.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 8th from 7 to 9 and Wednesday, February 9th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 10th at 1:00 p.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel with pastor Rev Sung Ming officiating.
