Marcel Brun, 48, of Shediac passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton. Born in Shediac, he was the son of Anita Belliveau and the late Aris Brun. He worked previously at a fish processing plant in Cap Pelé and loved to walk, play on his computer. He was also a Ham Radio operator. He is survived by his mother Anita (Belliveau) Gallant of Shediac, two sisters: Murielle Brun-Bourgeois (Ron) and Maria Léger (Denis Goguen) both of Shediac; two brothers: Maurice Brun (Dawn LeBreton) and Michel Brun both of Memramcook, several nieces and nephews: Jeffrey (Manon), Stefanie, James (Lisa) and Jason (Amanda), Amy and Joey, aunts, uncles and his special companion his dog "Sparkie". He is predeceased by his father Aris Brun (1986).
A Chapel Service was held at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Friday, February 11, 2011. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Shediac in the spring.
