Lamperd
The family of Arthur Lamperd, announce with sorrow, his passing, in Summerside, on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011. Born in Chatham, Ontario, Art was a retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces and was stationed at CFB Summerside as Fire Chief. Upon retirement, Art shared his love of woodworking with many students at S.A.W Industries and was also active with the Lion’s Club. Survived by his children, Connie, Mark, and Belinda of Halifax, NS; grandchildren Jason, Tara, and Stephanie; and great-grandson Cohen. Predeceased by his wife Merry Lamperd. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, 150 Summer St., Summerside, where funeral service will be held Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside, at a later date. No visitation by personal request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
