COMEAU, Mary Evangeline - 71, nick named “Tippie” of North Chegoggin, Yarmouth Co. passed away February 8, 2011 at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Tippie is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years Charles Joseph Comeau, nicknamed Carl. She is survived by family and siblings, Mark, Yarmouth; Anne, Clare; David, Yarmouth; Marvin, Ontario; Marlene, Alberta; Kevin, Dartmouth; Gail, Yarmouth; Michael, Alberta; Michelle, Halifax; Christopher, Yarmouth; Kenneth, Yarmouth; Emily, Dartmouth; Vincent, Ontario. Tippie also had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tippie was a lifetime volunteer and very musical. Tippie, Carl and family played their music when and wherever called upon at, Villa St Joseph Du Lac, Veterans Wing, Tidal View Manor, and Harbour Side Lodge. Tippie enjoyed jamming with Carl, Mark, David, Judy and whoever wanted to join in. Tippie struggled with Diabetes and any donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Family flowers only please. No visitation by request of family. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Yarmouth. A Memorial Service was held Monday, February 14 at 2 p.m. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Robert Baker officiated. Interment took place at Chegoggin Cemetery.
