MUNROE, Margaret I. - 73, of Port Medway, Queens County, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 8th, 2011. Born in Port Medway, she was a daughter of the late Joseph C. and Irene (Wamboldt) Leslie. Peggy was a stay at home Mom who loved to clean, cook, and bake. Peggy had a passion for shopping even if it was for groceries. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by daughters Patty (John) Campbell, Suzanne (Bob) Parnell, sons Chris and Jeff. Grandchildren: Jonathan, Jillian, Sarah, Emily and Josie, Brother Alfred (Marjorie) Leslie. She was predeceased by her husband Harold. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
